Delightful rooftop cocktails await
The rooftop bar experience was unforgettable! The drinks were expertly crafted, and we enjoyed stunning views of the city. Our room was exceptionally inviting with clean, modern decor, a combination that made our trip feel special.
We faced a minor hassle with parking being a block away, but it was manageable. The walk was fine, yet it would have been preferable to have more convenient parking right at the hotel.

Amazing rooftop vibes!
I had my first stay at an AC Hotel, and it rocked! The rooftop bar was a highlight. the drinks were on point, and I got to chill with coworkers playing pool afterward. The staff was super helpful, especially Connor at check-in. Just a heads up, the parking situation was a little cramped, so plan ahead.

i was absolutely appalled at the rude behavior of the staff, greeted with hostility before i could even say a word. and don't get me started on the $30 parking fee, totally outrageous! one would think a complimentary gesture would be offered after such inconveniences. i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t stomach the thought.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was super comfy and exceptionally clean. I loved how beautiful it was, really modern and inviting. Big windows let in a lot of light, which made the space feel even better. The shower had dual heads, and overall, it felt quite luxurious. Can't forget the lavender sachets in the lobby, such a nice touch!

Wandered over to Zombie Burger and Shake Lab for a killer burger experience! The Republic on Grand served up some epic views and cocktails. Trent, the bar whiz, had my Albariño ready like he knew my soul. And let’s not forget Sheila at the front desk—her vibes made checking in a joyful start to my stay!
Parking's a bit steep at $30 a day, and I got hit with an unexplained $250 charge at checkout. Minor bumps on an otherwise stellar stay. still felt like a cozy retreat in the heart of Des Moines!
